New Launch: Euro VI compliant High-Temperature Silicone Hoses for Organic-Acid-Technology based Coolants (with impermeable liner)

With rising under-the hood temperatures and pressures under the new Euro VI regime, the Industry prefers Silicone Hoses lined with Fluorosilicone. However, the drawbacks of Silicone and Fluorosilicone are as follows:

1. Not resistant to extremely acidic or alkaline environments (even if lined with Fluorosilicone)
2. Not compatible with Sodium or Potassium 2-ethylhexanoate and ethylhexanoic acid

Hence, Shore Auto has launched a new hose, with a specially formulated inner-layer, to withstand against permeation of these extremely harsh OAT coolants and their fumes. The hoses are available in a textured finish (not smooth/shiny finish). All RAL colours are available; however, the inner lining will always be Black. The operating temperatures of this new hose is 230 degrees celsius internally, and 200 degrees celsius externally.
