October 15th 2014, SmartBuyGlasses has teamed up with Imagine Group to provide eyewear for contestants filming Fit for Fashion. This revolutionary new reality TV show hopes to transform 12 ordinary people into fit, stylish and confident individuals over 10 weeks with the winner taking home a $100,000 cash prize.
Filmed in Malaysia in partnership with one of the largest fitness brands in the world, Fitness First and the GREAT Britain campaign, the show will promote the best of Britain across South East Asia. The GREAT Britain campaign is the UK’s largest ever global marketing campaign, showing the rest of the world just how great the country is.
Working alongside British brands Ted Baker, Debenhams and Clarks, SmartBuyGlasses provided contestants with eyewear from some of the most aspirational British brands including Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Cutler and Gross. Presenting the show will be style icon Louise Roe. This Surrey born fashion expert has worked across the world for publications like Vogue, MTV and Style.com and brings her fashionable eye to watch over the contestants.
The final 12 contestants were all chosen through social media campaigns. Amongst the finalists is British born Chelsey Hall. This action-loving woman from Cheltenham resides in the Philippines running her own charity called ‘Babies of Boracay’ which provides free meals and education to children.
