Neill Staff, Senior Tax Manager, joins Essex based top 100 UK accountancy firm, Raffingers Stuart. The highly experienced tax manager joins during an exciting period, where the firm has witnessed a 41% increase in turnover and a 27% increase in new clients in the last 12 months.

Work History:
With over 23 years’ experience at HMRC, working as a compliance manager and senior tax inspector, and then 11 years in practice, Neill has a wealth of experience working in tax.
After working for HMRC for 23 years, Neill moved in 2004 to a small firm in London, where he spent two years as a tax manager. Then in 2006, Neill joined a top 100 UK accountancy firm where he stayed for nine years and became a Senior Tax Manager.

Neill brings with him to Raffingers Stuart a wealth of knowledge in personal and corporate tax. As a former senior investigator with HMRC, he has a wide-range of experience and knowledge overseeing COP8 and COP9 enquiries, as well as large cross-tax cases, investigations and employer reviews. Neill also has extensive experience as a Research and Development specialist, and deals with claims to HMRC under the SME and large company schemes, including the new Research and Expenditure Credit (RDEC).
