Flux Studios is the home base where these four musicians honed the sound you’ll hear on the Bridge City Hustle EP and their breakout single “Too Good For Me” which the band describes as follows, “Our sophomore single, “Too Good For Me” is a funky, up-beat, break-up song about ending a relationship after realizing you can\’t reciprocate the love your significant other has for you”.

The band is picking up a tremendous amount of attention in the NYC area and truly foreshadowing their appeal across the rest of the country. “The Bridge City Hustle EP” looks to solidify the bands unique soulful sound with a universally appealing reach.

“The Bridge City Hustle E.P. About Bridge City Hustle:

Bridge City Hustle is the collaboration of four talented and innovative musicians, songwriters, and producers that are redefining soul and rock in Brooklyn, NY. Bridge City Hustle formed in the fall of 2012 and features Johnny Burgos on vocals and percussion, Pete O’Neill on bass, Dave Zerio on drums, and Dan Cherouny on saxophone.

Lead singer, Johnny Burgos is a multi-faceted producer, engineer, and songwriter, in addition to being the voice of Bridge City Hustle. As a child, Johnny studied percussion under the tutelage of world-class percussionist, Andre Martinez. In the early stages of his music career, he produced beats for hip-hop luminaries, such as Mobb Deep and M.O.P. His interests soon turned into more organic arrangements as he developed his smooth, but raw vocal approach that would become an integral element to Bridge City Hustle’s sound.

Pete O’Neill developed his distinctive fretless bass tone studying under bass legend, Victor Wooten and Chuck Rainey. Pete has shared the stage with artists, such as James Brown and The Allman Brothers Band and has appeared on Mike Huckabee’s Morning Show.

Dave Zerio is the drummer/keyboardist musical virtuoso who is equal parts Steve Gadd, John Bonham, and Clyde Stubblefield. Dave studied music and audio engineering at The Hartford Conservatory and The New England Institute of Art.

Dan Cherouny is an emerging force in the world of electronic music and is equally skilled as a soloist on alto saxophone. Dan studied saxophone under Gary Thomas and also works as an engineer and producer at Flux Studios.
