Gorgeous Bride magazine, the UK’s only magazine for the plus size bride, officially launches in London this month with over 80 pages of inspiration, real life weddings and wedding day sparkle specifically for the plus size bride.

In the UK there are currently at least 53 bridal magazines available for subscription either online or in print but none of them are specifically for the plus size bride. That was until now!

Gorgeous Bride magazine is published quarterly both online and in print and the first edition will be available to download and to purchase in August 2015.

Supported by a website and a blog, Gorgeous Bride Magazine aims to be the first stop for the plus size bride, connecting her to a wide range of wedding suppliers and inspirational ideas.

Editor Carole Pyke states, “The idea that one size fits all is misguided. Plus size women want to see images of themselves so that they can more easily imagine themselves in that wedding dress or in that environment. I find it amazing that the Bridal Industry hasn’t recognised this. As a plus size woman myself I know all too well how disheartening thumbing through magazines can be when there is no one who looks like me.

Gorgeous Bride Magazine is tailored to women who are looking for inspiration for their up coming nuptials and don’t want to wade through pages and pages of women with less assets than them trying to work out if that look would suit.
There are millions of women who are being overlooked by bridal magazines. We want to provide inspirational and aspirational content so that they can feel catered for.”
