London, UK: Following the success of their first London based Hackathon in November 2015, EmpowerHack are proud to announce their first Global Hackathon for female Refugee Health in April 2016.
Medical Professionals, Humanitarian Workers, Marketers, Software Developers, User Experience Designers and Researchers will all come together in London and Amsterdam to create new open source health solutions for Refugee women and girls, in a new kind of hackathon that is focused on inclusive design, sustainability and partnerships.
At the events, work will continue on existing projects (developed during the first hackathon), as well as starting work on new and exciting ventures. Existing projects include:
HaBaby – A web application for prenatal and postnatal care for refugee women.
HerStory – Storytellers by the act of telling can change minds, lives and the world.
