Partner at Essex accountancy firm, Raffingers, Lee Manning was Highly Commended in the Practitioner of the Year category at The British Accountancy Awards 2016.
The British Accountancy Awards, hosted by Accountancy Age, are regarded as “the accountancy sectors most prestigious awards. They pinpoint professional development and highlight those that have demonstrated excellence in their profession during the last 12 months”. The ceremony is currently in its sixth year and welcomes over 600 accountancy professionals each year.
Partner at Raffingers, Lee Manning solely promoted the use of cloud accounting software in 2014. Two years later, Raffingers boast a team of seven cloud accounting experts dedicated to improving the bookkeeping experience of their clients. Consequently, 15% of Raffingers’ clients are now growing their business through Xero. Furthermore, Lee oversees the marketing team who account for 20% of all new fees and is a founder of the charity Raffingers Foundation. In 2015, Lee boasted a 10% fee income increase and accounts for 34% of all new clients.
Lee Manning said: “Winning an award at the British Accountancy Awards is definitely an aspiration; however, being recognised as a highly commended practitioner is very flattering. Innovating new ideas and trying new processes has really been an area of focus for me and being recognised for my efforts is gratifying. Though, if it wasn’t for the team at Raffingers, all my ideas and my ‘itchy fingers’ would be wasted and to them I am forever thankful”.
The Raffingers team are excited and look forward to another prosperous year ahead.
