Local orchestra brings Christmas classics to Coventry

Get your Christmas off to a sparkling start with Christmas classics brought to you by Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra. Rumoured to include a visit from Santa Claus, don’t miss this family concert happening at 3pm on 6 December at Earlsdon Methodist Church in Coventry.

Get into the Christmas mood with Christmas at the Movies, Sleigh Ride, Troika, White Christmas and many more seasonal favourites – and join in with the orchestra for some carol singing.

Now in its 97th year, the orchestra has been bringing music to Coventry since 1917, and is proudly sponsored by the Heart Of England Cooperative Society. In 2014 the orchestra has raised over £1,500 for charities including Myton Hospice, and RNIB. All proceeds from this concert will go to Zambuko ra Jehova which helps children orphaned by AIDS in Zimbabwe.
