The Malo men’s collection for the upcoming fall/winter season is a melodious composition of luxury and subtlety, cadenced by the expressions of that most noble fiber, cashmere, reminding us that “hands want to see, eyes want to caress.”

In addition to the materials and the sophisticated ways in which they are interpreted, the colors and shapes of this collection are an artistic allusion to the season, carefree, yet refined, in a blend of American painter Robert Mangold’s unique creative vision and the joie de vivre conveyed by iconic details in the style of the legendary Sixties.

The warm, soft sweaters feature jacquard inlays boasting the geometric shapes, asymmetric lines and curves of colorful canvases, next to wide stripes and check patterns that are quintessentially British. Clever, whimsical embroidery has also found its way into this collection, with little Aston Martins, Spitfire airplanes and Napa Valley’s hot air balloons putting a playful, light-hearted spin on the finest of yarns.

The minimal lines, enhanced by innovative visual effects, are played in a range of subdued or vibrant colors, modulating in a symphony that combines pure nuances, urban tones and spicy hues, revealing the elegance of contemporary, yet timeless, color blocks.
The palette includes and blends 31 different colors: from the natural hues of the earth to variations of blue and grey, bright camel, red, yellow and malachite green.

In this way, the men’s look combines elegance and fun, while letting cashmere sit first chair, for pieces as stunning as works of art – indeed, Malo excels at the art of knitwear – brought together for a head-to-toe look that is versatile and relaxed, blending tradition and innovation, the classic and the contemporary.

The various weights and yarns update typical men’s tailored clothing, from blazers to peacoats, shearling coats to pierced, coated nappa leather bomber jackets, for a sophisticated, sporty style.
This collection also features a luxurious new series of hand-knit pieces, designed to emphasize the fineness and weight of textures through weaves, movement and iridescent effects that accentuate the warm, embracing cashmere.

Finally, Malo’s line of line of unique, refined accessories provides the finishing touches for a complete wardrobe, including the LEO backpack with clean, light, functional lines, available in both specially-treated deerskin and suede. It pairs well with the tassel loafers and lace-ups in brogued leather and suede.
