New Leaf Life Design at the top of the tree in Taunton Deane Business Award
New Leaf Life Design is celebrating their success as a finalist in the brand new Taunton Deane Business Awards having been recognised as one of the best businesses in the borough.
Director Becky Wright said, “It was a great honour to receive our award as a finalist at such a prestigious local event attended by Deborah Meaden. It recognises that we deliver a unique Wellbeing package combining counselling and coaching to individuals and businesses. Significantly though, our work and success in the awards is bringing professional services in Taunton to the attention of a wider sphere. The judges recognised that as a counselling business we have developed a unique approach combining our essential soft skills with a pragmatic business approach.
Becky said,” Larger Employee Assistance Programmes charge per employee we offer a Pay-as-you-Go, benefitting the local economy (SMEs in particular), clients only paying for what they use, alongside an option of a series of sessions whereby we can demonstrate our proven effectiveness & the cost benefits. We believe that proactive intervention can improve performance and mitigate against days lost due to sickness, particularly stress.”
Deborah Meaden who presented the commendation award and spoke at the event said,” These awards are worth celebrating…….this is what business excellence is all about.”

The Taunton Deane Business Awards started in 2016 recognising a need for local businesses to showcase their achievements to their peers and celebrate the diversity of the businesses that are based in Taunton Deane. Deborah Meaden of Dragon’s Den fame presented the overall Commendation Award.
