The best Universities in the world: Russian edition

Rankings Agency RUR in partnership with the Thomson Reuters has published a list of leading world universities by 5 subject areas according to world university ranking – Round University Ranking (RUR), 2015 edition.

Rankings are presented by the following broad subject areas: Humanities, Life sciences, Natural sciences, Social sciences and Technical sciences. From 400 to 600 leading world universities are evaluated in each subject category.

RUR Ranking shows diversity of knowledge globally. US and UK higher education institutions are commonly dominate in top-100, 200 however leading positions of these nations are not so strong as shown by RUR Overall ranking. Universities of emerging economies like BRICS also show 2-3 times higher positions by Teaching rather than in general rankings.
