Tresor Paris spent an incredible evening last night at the MOBOs nominations party. Held at the illustrious London Connaught Rooms in Mayfair, guests were greeted with incredible British style canapés and flowing wine, champagne and cocktails. In the glittering golden Grand Hall Tresor Paris were seated front and centre to watch incredible performances from So Solid Crew (covered in Tresor Paris jewellery), MOBO Unsung winners In’Sight, Fuse ODG, and X factor’s Jahmene Douglas. In’Sight, the unsigned vocalists were for many the highlight of the evening, and So Solid Crew’s rendition of Happy Birthday to the MOBOs was definitely a close second!
Organiser Kanya King (also glittering in a beautiful Tresor Paris necklace) gave a rousing speech about the 18 years of history behind the MOBOs, really opening the audience’s eyes to the all year round nature of the organization, and its dedication to exposing and promoting niche music to the masses. The largest urban music awards in Europe put on a showstopper of a night, and in between mini burgers and pick ‘n’ mix, Tresor Paris had a chance to meet some of the stars and present them with their very own Tresor Paris jewellery. Fuse ODG, after performing his hit single Antenna, came off stage to be gifted a stunning Cornimont White Crystal & Black Agate One Piece Necklace, he loved the piece- in his words “Jewel me up!” Best Male Act nominee Wiley also went away with a beautiful matte black agate and pavé set silver Liesse Blanc bracelet from the brand new men’s collection. Best Album nominee Angel, with his incredible new release About Time, popped over to the table to say hi, and left with Ombre Or, a stunning yellow gold plated bracelet with a pavé set white crystal bead at the centre. So many brilliant speeches, performances, and heartfelt well wishers gave this evening an undeniably electric atmosphere.
