Ukrainian community feels indignant at public appearence of Igor Yankovsky, wanted at home for financing terrorism, at the Cannes Festival. Igor and Nikolay Yankovskiy are the co-owners of the Ukrainian company Stirolbiopharm, in Gorlovka temporarily occupied by the Russian troops, part of the revenue goes to the budget of the organization, recognized as terroristic in Ukraine.
Kyiv, Ukraine, May 19, 2016 — Ukrainian Community Feels Indignant at Public Appearance of Igor Yankovskiy, Wanted at Home for Financing Terrorism, at The Cannes Festival.
Recently it became known that Igor Yankovskiy was going to appear in public at Cannes with some kind of charity event, dedicated to the contest of children’s drawings.
Nikolay Yankovskiy and his son Igor Yankovskiy are the co-owners of the Ukrainian company Stirolbiopharm, which is located in Gorlovka town on the territory, temporarily occupied by the Russian troops.
Vladimir Aryev, the member of the Ukrainian Parliament and the member of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe expresses indignance at the fact that those who are sought by Ukrainian justice can easily appear at the festival in France.
The company produces medicines, and considering location or the enterprise, part of the revenue goes to the budget of organization, recognized as terroristic in Ukraine (Donetsk People’s Republic – DPR).
Ukrainian journalists and law enforcement officers conducted the investigation, which results can be seen in the film about Yankovskiy family shown on Ukrainian television.

The Ukrainian Security Service is investigating against Yankovskiy family on suspicion of being involved in the financing of terrorism (Criminal case №22016000000000023 – see the document in attachement and all the infomation at the link – http://antikor.com.ua/articles/89116-sbu_nachala_rassledovanie_protiv_gorlovskoj_kompanii_stirolbiofarm). Yankovskiy family has fled the country.
According to preliminary information Yankovskiy family has doubtfully obtained a residence permit in Monaco. They live in a villa on Cap Martin (which previously belonged to Dolce&Gabbana), purchased through nominees, as well as they have accounts in France with millions of Euro, hidden there from the Ukrainian justice.
Previously, they were remembered in Bordeaux for their exotic auction purchase of the wine barrel for 300 000 Euro. This was the fact the press wrote a lot about, because the ceremony was attended by Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.
