Weston Canoes have taken on their first employer.
Iain Bradshaw (25) is from Aylsham and has been working as a carpenter for 2 years in Melbourne.
Nick Hanington (founder of Weston Canoes) said “we have been looking for someone to come in and help build the boats as order numbers have been increasing over the summer.”

Weston canoes have been making bespoke wooden canoes for just over a year. Nick originally set the company up himself after completing a boat building course in 2014.

“Iain has really hit the ground running”, Nick added. “He has some valuable experience and is a natural woodworker. The canoes are looking better than ever and we will continue to look to grow over the next few months.”
